TR, ην δε εγγυς το πασχα των ιουδαιων και ανεβησαν πολλοι εις ιεροσολυμα εκ της χωρας προ του πασχα ινα αγνισωσιν εαυτους

Enam hari sebelum Paskah Yesus datang ke Betania, tempat tinggal Lazarus yang dibangkitkan Yesus dari antara orang mati.

KJV,  Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
TR, ο ουν ιησους προ εξ ημερων του πασχα ηλθεν εις βηθανιαν οπου ην λαζαρος ο τεθνηκως ον ηγειρεν εκ νεκρων

Sementara itu sebelum hari raya Paskah mulai, Yesus telah tahu, bahwa saat-Nya sudah tiba untuk beralih dari dunia ini kepada Bapa. Sama seperti Ia senantiasa mengasihi murid-murid-Nya demikianlah sekarang Ia mengasihi mereka sampai kepada kesudahannya.
KJV,  Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

18:28 Maka mereka membawa Yesus dari Kayafas ke gedung pengadilan. Ketika itu hari masih pagi. Mereka sendiri tidak masuk ke gedung pengadilan itu, supaya jangan menajiskan diri, sebab mereka hendak makan Paskah.
KJV, Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

18:39 Tetapi pada kamu ada kebiasaan, bahwa pada Paskah aku membebaskan seorang bagimu. Maukah kamu, supaya aku membebaskan raja orang Yahudi bagimu?"

KJV, But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?
TR, εστιν δε συνηθεια υμιν ινα ενα υμιν απολυσω εν τω πασχα βουλεσθε ουν υμιν απολυσω τον βασιλεα των ιουδαιων

Hari itu ialah hari persiapan Paskah, kira-kira jam dua belas. Kata Pilatus kepada orang-orang Yahudi itu: "Inilah rajamu!"
KJV, And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!
